9am to 6pm everyday.
How frequent do you get emergency duty/24 hour duties?is there any post duty ""off""?
Night duty is from 6pm to 8am. Post duty off is there after 2am.
What do you do as 1st year,IInd year and IIIrd year?
Monthly rotations are there in Xray, USG, CT,MRI and medical checkup. Nuclear medicine and intervention posting is also there.
What are the different modalities available?
a)XRay(no
b)USG- 3 GE USG machines, A single resident get around 15 USG per day to do in the USG posting. We also get to do OBS ultrasound on our own, but is relatively lower.
d)Mammography
e)CT machine – 128 slice MDCT/Around 40 scans per day. Highest being 80
f)MRI- 1.5 Tesla- 20+ per day.
How much is the stipend for Ist year, iind year and IIIrd year?
It is 35k, 37k and 40k for first second and third year respectively. Secondaries get 37 and 40k for first and second year.
How frequent are seminars/pgp?
Around 3-4 per week.
How is the accomaodation?
Hostel is free. Canteen facility is available.
Only productive work is given to residents
