Left ovary is enlarged in size and measures 7.3 x 4.8 cm. It shows a central cystic lesion measuring 3.8 x 3.0 cm. The peripheral part of the ovary shows multiple small follicles and is predominantly hypointense and nonenhancing in post-contrast study. There is a tortuous looping of the left ovarian pedicle – Suggesting tubo-ovarian torsion.
Right ovary shows a hemorrhagic cyst measuring 4.0 x 2.8 cm.
