Groove pancreatitis

Patient History : Abdominal pain since 1 week
Gender:Male
Age:28 Yea

-          Mild fluid collection noted in the pancreaticoduodenal groove with surrounding fat stranding and mildly edematous medial wall of second part of the duodenum – Suggesting groove pancreatitis.  
-          Pancreatic parenchyma shows homogeneous post contrast enhancement. No focal lesion noted. 
-          Pancreatic duct is not dilated. No evidence of pancreatic parenchymal / ductal calcifications noted. 
-          No evidence of necrosis or vascular complications. 
-          Mild thickening of right anterior renal fascia noted.
